Role: Senior Industrial Designer / Design Specialist
Key Tasks: hired as specific Audio Design Specialist for the Samsung Research Lab satellite Audio Lab Division in Valencia, CA. Liaison for the VP of Audio Lab where we presented next level visual design elements for the audio system industrial design language. Developed concept product ideas to help improve the audio lineup strategy promoting the next level UI / UX opportunities for Samsung's Bixby. Helped craft prototype models for presentations with the Korea executive teams.
Tasked with generating new product ideas for the Design Audio Lab, our industrial design proposals focused on improving the audio products by promoting seamless integration with existing Samsung devices such as magnetic docking ports built-in onto the speaker platforms.
The concept involved incorporating Samsung tablets that magnetically dock onto the front angled area of the speaker, forming a base with a charging port. This innovative design allows the audio to be emitted through the speaker integrated into the base platform.
Utilizing the Bixby Smart Speaker Cast, our proposals aimed to enhance the speaker experience by introducing smart and interactive features.
